‘Nadja’ recycled silver pendant

‘Nadja’ recycled silver pendant

£22.00

‘Nadja’ is the title of the 1928 Surrealist novel by Andre Breton and details a series of chance encounters, interactions and conversations between Breton and Nadja around the streets of Paris. The novel is situated in real locations and involves real people, but Nadja’s interpretation of these things floats somewhere away from reality.

The image pictured here is a drawing by Nadja titled ‘The Lover’s Flower’ and is a symbolic representation of the romance between her and a Breton.

This silver shape reminds me of the serpent drawn by her.

Limited edition. Recycled silver pendant hung on a silver plated chain.
