Hand cast pewter charm based on a tiny found stone that is special to me. This rock was cast in pewter using a traditional sand casting technique.
The charm feels like an organ (heart, lung, brain) and something internal (both anatomically and metaphorically). It felt vulnerable and like it needed protecting, so I made it a tiny ribcage to keep it safe.
The charm can be removed from the ribcage. You can take out the pewter stone and play with it. You can stroke your finger down it’s spine.
Materials: Inside charm is hand cast pewter (non-toxic), rib cage is recycles sterling silver.
