"Fairy Rings" recycled silver studs (extra small)

Extra-small studs made from the offcuts of silver. These offcuts are melted down, formed into balls and then fused together. The shape of these remind me of fairy rings - circles of mushrooms that occur naturally and are steeped in folklore and mystery. The number 7 is vaguely magical and mysterious, so 7 molten balls are used in each earring.
